About the Book.
My book is a tribute to Australia: the Country and the People.
Australia has a unique quality that makes it TRULY great. It exists nowhere else in the world. Other countries have tried to copy it without success. It can't be properly described, nor accurately defined.
It is the Australian "Bush Heart."
It's giving. It's caring. It's sharing. It beats strong and loud.
It's a heart that pours out, if you only take the time to recognize it and are 'fair dinkum' about sharing some of yours, in return. The more you give, the more you get back.
"You Know You're in Australia" is a 128 page book of good quality paper, double stitch bound and is hard 'cello' covered with an attractive dust jacket cover. It is truly a 'coffee table' quality book.
There are 35 original poems, which reflect the "Bush Heart" of this great country. Humour, pathos and just 'make you think' is what the stories are all about. Fact, fiction and fantasy abound.
There are five original paintings and 26 pages of professional quality photographs, all of which support lines or stanzas of the poems.
